Lobby Day

Lobby Day is our annual trip to Nashville where UCW members from all across the state will have the opportunity to meet and speak with our state representatives about the issues affecting us on campus. This year we will be pushing for fair pay, adjunct raises, paid family leave, support for public education and more! Buses will be organized from Memphis and the tentative schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 5:30 am: depart from IBEW Hall at 1870 Madison Ave.
  • 9:00 am: Arrival at Cordell Hull Building, 425 5th Ave N, Nashville
  • 3:00 pm: Board buses home
  • 6:00 pm: return to Memphis
